Off & Running
a Blog of Life on the Run

The final few days of my trip with my Auntie Gay, AKA Zia Gaya, were relaxed. With all the walking we had been doing, we were ready to just sit. As neither of us are good at just sitting, we ended up doing quite a bit of wandering so by the last day, I was ready to see one last thing.

First thing in the morning, I headed off on a run & decided to go to the Colosseo as my turn around point. By the time I got back, I announced that we were going to get tickets and go. Wow. What an incredible place to see - and to see pictures of what it looked like at its height!

By the end of the trip, my Aunt mentioned that I was visibly relaxed in the photos and she hoped I could hang on to that feeling. 12 days of traveling with no access to email does a body good.
