Playing with Baby Lions

Baobab Tree & the River Lodge

It's Saturday here in Africa and it's time for a little play time.

The Big Baobab Tree in Limpopo South Africa was a wonder. It's about 1,700 years old OR 6,000 years old depending on who you ask. As it has aged, it has hollowed itself out. There are some pretty cool facts here.

This is the only photo we have of our entire team together. We're a pretty good looking bunch of missionaries, huh? :)

Lions & Tigers & Wildebeasts - oh my! Off to the River Lodge - a gorgeous lodge right on the __ River with wildlife walks and feeding of the baby animals. Not far from the place we were staying in the Limpopo Province. Michael even got a chance to walk a tiger.

Then I got a chance to play with my camera to take some headshots. I'm having a little too much fun with this.

While everyone else was off on a little "safari" (driving in a jeep through the grounds), I headed down to the river with Sandy. It was breathtaking - the beautiful wild of Africa. As we keep saying here - I wish I could describe it but you really have to just see it for yourself.
